This is an IADC accredited course designed for the rig's Drill Crew, such as Floor Hands, Derrickmen, Assistant Drillers, and other on-the-rig personnel such as mud engineers. There is no prerequisite required to attend this course, although Level 1 Awareness classes are available online. A valid Level 2 certificate is a required prerequisite for Driller (Level 3) well control certification.

This is an IADC accredited course designed for the rig's Drill Crew, such as Floor Hands, Derrickmen, Assistant Drillers, and other on-the-rig personnel such as mud engineers. There is no prerequisite required to attend this course, although Level 1 Awareness classes are available online. A valid Level 2 certificate is a required prerequisite for Driller (Level 3) well control certification. Because of the importance to establish a good well control knowledge foundation, this course is 5 days in duration. Attendees will get hands-on experience with INP's DS5000 rig-floor simulator. To successfully complete this course and obtain Level 2 certification, the candidates must pass a timed online exam at the end of the class. The certificate is valid for 5-years after completion of the course.
